Dön Season and Pacifying the Turmoil of the Mamos

February 5th—February 14th

Date details +

The period of ten days preceding Shambhala Day is known as the “Dön Season,” because sudden loses of mindfulness can be more common. It is recommended that we keep life simple, be very mindful, and do a lot of practice. It is customary to recite a chant called “Pacifying the Turmoil of the Mamos” during this time in order to pacify the karmic causes of personal, social, and environmental chaos accumulated through the year due to unmindful acts.

Please join us every evening starting at 5:30 pm from Feb 5th through Feb 14th to chant and pacify the mamos.
