Contentment can be hard to find. Much of the time, we search for contentment in things, achievements or relationships. How often do we relax with ourselves and appreciate simple human experience?

This five-week class explores how we can open to our heart—the inherent goodness and qualities of contentment: gentleness, appreciation and steadiness—through the practice of meditation. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness and inquisitiveness.

The series is open to anyone, with or without prior meditation experience, but prior instruction in meditation may make some topics more accessible.

Preregistration is recommended.
