How can you stay informed of events at our Center?

About 1-4 times per month we send an email announcing events and activities at the center. For this purpose, we maintain a mailing list of postal and email addresses of people who are interested. We primarily communicate via our Google Groups email list and  "late-breaking news" is always sent out via e-mail.  Please join our email list if you would like to be kept informed of classes, events and activities at the center and in the area.

1. Click on "Sign up Now" if you don't already have a Google account.
2. Fill in all the fields and click on the button "I accept. Create my Account".
3. Finally, sign in to your new account and click the button to apply for membership to "Shambhala Center of White River Announcements".
4. Please provide your name, mailing address and phone number when you apply.

Within 1-2 days your application will be processed and you can go to the web site to see previous messages. Future messages will be sent to your email account.

Privacy, Security and Unwanted Emails

At first, we all had trepidation about using Google Groups. To date, we have not experienced any problems with the service in terms of privacy or security.

If at any time you wish to be removed from the list, please send an email to shambhala.whiteriver@gmail.com

When you join the email list you will also be added to our database. For this reason, we request that you provide your name and postal mailing address as well as phone number. Occasionally, we send out postal mailings.

Only the list administrator can post to this list.

We have restricted the use of this list to communicating events and activities that are directly related to the Shambhala Meditation Center of White River. Given the vast array of dharma offerings, public talks and meditation programs happening in Vermont and New Hampshire, we have created a separate community list that can be used by anyone to post events of interest.
